Adding insult to injury, the rogue slaves have struck another blow against their former masters. General Weapons has finally released a statement about the current situation:
"It is becoming apparent that this group of former slaves is a problem that will have to be dealt with harshly. Though we would have preferred to deal with the rebels in a civlized manner, we will now be acting in force. Reinforcements have been sent to head off the rebels' progress northward."
There is growing concern from many other corporate counties that General Weapons has already attempted to forcefully deal with the rebels and failed. Though there is little doubt in anyone's mind that the rebels stand no chance of escaping from the full force of the corporation, some executives fear that General Weapons is treating the matter too lightly. Fears are that General Weapons is not sending adequate force, maintaining the stance that the uprising is inconsequential. Both McDeath and War*Mart are threatening retaliation for an unnamed product now overdue for delivery. Rumours are circulating that a prototype for a top-secret aircraft has been stolen from General Weapons and is laying waste to conventional security forces. General Weapons denies any theft of experimental material and the existence of any such aircraft and refused further comment on such matters.
